The client is a Europe-based fintech organization operating in the digital payments and card acquiring space. Headquartered in the Mediterranean region, the company specializes in providing card payment processing and payment solutions to fintechs and digitally native businesses across multiple geographies. As a regulated payment services provider, the client supports high transaction volumes while ensuring compliance, reliability, and scalability for its customers.

As the client set out to expand beyond its home market and target global fintech customers, its existing technology landscape began to show clear limitations. The organization needed a modern, scalable payments platform that could support rapid growth, new product launches, and round-the-clock availability.
Legacy constraints made it difficult to introduce new payment capabilities quickly or integrate seamlessly with external partners. Solution
To address these challenges, the client partnered with BCT to implement a modern, end-to-end digital banking and payments platform built on Temenos technology. The solution leveraged Temenos Transact for core payments processing, Temenos Infinity for digital channels, and Financial Crime Mitigation (FCM) to ensure compliance and risk management across the transaction lifecycle.
The platform was deployed using Temenos SaaS 1.0, making this one of the early cloud-native implementations on the Temenos ecosystem. Its cloud-agnostic, API-first architecture enabled rapid deployment, easy integration, and continuous upgrades without service disruption.
BCT also delivered full integration with a third-party debit card provider, implementing ISO 8583 messaging standards along with clearing and settlement processing. The program was executed in phases, with the first phase going live in 2021 and the second phase successfully delivered in 2022, ensuring a stable and risk-managed rollout.
