The client faced significant challenges managing their high-tech operations, which also affected their retail and e-commerce channels. The absence of a suitable ERP system led to costly mistakes and high support and release costs, with potential losses of up to $1 million per hour of downtime. Rapid business growth, with the addition of 100 employees and 500 customers weekly, compounded these issues. The client was also dealing with security issues related to the car's technology and customer data. A high-cost servicing model, missing inventory, and a hastily built website were all significant challenges for the client. BCT developed integrations and tools to improve the interface, enhancing the user experience and security. A knowledge base was created for common tasks, facilitating ongoing automation. Additionally, tools for inventory verification and VIN number analysis were built, integrating data across systems. Database optimization was conducted for factory floor applications, boosting production capacity and speed. Using open-source tools, BCT ensured bug fixes and developed the Gate 8 application for trucks.
