An integrated logistics platform connects planning execution tracking billing and settlement
BCT implemented CueTrans as an integrated transportation and freight management platform, replacing fragmented processes with digital workflows, optimization, enterprise integration and real time visibility across the logistics lifecycle.
Client
Challenge
The operator’s transportation and freight systems had evolved alongside its logistics operations but lacked the automation and standardisation available in modern commercial platforms. Dispatching, vehicle rostering, routing and load consolidation relied heavily on manual intervention, creating operational inefficiencies and value leakage.
The organisation needed a connected platform that could provide end to end visibility across transportation, freight forwarding, contractors and logistics providers. It also needed to improve vehicle utilisation, route planning, shipment consolidation, proof of delivery, freight billing and reconciliation with SAP, while giving managers better dashboards and analytics for decision making.

Solution
BCT delivered CueTrans as a digital logistics platform covering Transportation Management, Freight Management, enterprise integration and real time analytics. The platform was shaped around the operator’s oil and gas logistics processes and supported the lifecycle from service request and planning through execution, tracking, proof of delivery, billing and settlement.
The Transportation Management capabilities digitised cargo and service requests, shipment and load planning, vehicle rostering and allocation, inspection, weighbridge integration, journey planning and tracking, proof of delivery, freight billing and settlement. Constraint based optimisation supported route planning, shipment consolidation and vehicle utilisation.
Freight Management capabilities covered service requests, RFQs and electronic bidding, quotation evaluation, freight forwarder collaboration, shipment planning, milestone tracking, customs and duty processes, document management, invoicing and settlement. Mobile applications supported vehicle allocation, inspection, journey management and proof of delivery.
CueTrans integrated with SAP through REST APIs and connected operational data to dashboards and analytics. Reporting covered order fulfilment, tonnage, SLA compliance, route optimisation, journey risks and violations, freight costs, vehicle utilisation, inspection and HSE performance, driver behaviour and carrier performance.

Impact
CueTrans digitised end to end logistics workflows and created a common platform for users, contractors, logistics providers, freight forwarders and drivers. The platform recorded adoption across transportation and freight operations, including more than 150 TMS users, 50 FMS users and 103 ASN or simple users.
The optimiser supports shipment consolidation, load splitting, route optimisation and journey scheduling, helping reduce unnecessary distance travelled and improve load and vehicle utilisation. Dashboards provide operational visibility into SLA compliance, load utilisation and other logistics performance indicators.
The platform has supported continuous operations and improvement, with around 900 support tickets handled during the referenced annual period alongside user training and workshops. BCT’s long term domain knowledge and ongoing support helped evolve the solution from a logistics application into an integrated digital ecosystem connected to enterprise systems, mobility and analytics.
