A connected procurement ecosystem improves contract control supplier onboarding and governance
BCT extended a sourcing platform into a digitised Zycus Source to Contract ecosystem, replacing manual contract and supplier processes with standardised workflows, stronger governance and end to end visibility.
Client
Challenge
Contract management was largely manual, while the existing procurement solution focused mainly on sourcing. This limited end to end process integration and made it difficult for procurement stakeholders to maintain consistent visibility and control across contracts.
Vendor prequalification and accreditation were handled through offline and manual processes, creating longer onboarding cycles and additional administrative effort. Group Procurement also needed standardised workflows and stronger controls to improve efficiency, policy compliance, auditability and accountability.

Group Procurement also needed standardised workflows and stronger controls to improve efficiency, policy compliance, auditability and accountability.
Solution
BCT designed and implemented a Zycus Source to Contract solution that connected sourcing, supplier management and contract management on a unified platform. The implementation built on the organisation’s existing sourcing capability and extended it into a broader procurement ecosystem.
Zycus Contract Management centralised contract creation, review, approval, execution, storage and renewal. Standardised workflows improved visibility into contract status, obligations and compliance activities while replacing manual document driven processes.
Supplier registration, prequalification, accreditation, evaluation and approval were digitised. Structured supplier journeys reduced dependency on offline documentation and enabled procurement teams to manage qualification status, records and engagement more consistently.
Common S2C workflows, approval controls, procurement policies and governance mechanisms were established across Group Procurement. Notifications, approvals and repetitive activities were automated, while a connected view of sourcing events, supplier engagements, contracts and compliance supported more proactive management.

Impact
Supplier onboarding became faster and more controlled as offline prequalification and accreditation moved into standardised digital workflows. Procurement teams reduced administrative effort and gained clearer visibility into supplier documentation, qualification status and engagement progress.
Contract visibility improved through a central repository and structured workflows covering creation, review, approval, execution, renewal and compliance tracking. Bringing sourcing, supplier management and contracts into one platform created a single source of truth for procurement activity.
Standardised approval workflows, policy controls and audit trails strengthened governance across Group Procurement. Reduced reliance on spreadsheets, emails and offline documents lowered operational risk and improved process consistency.
The new digital framework created a scalable foundation for additional business units, categories, suppliers and geographies, moving procurement from a fragmented operating model to a more transparent and controlled Source to Contract environment.
