The organisation needed stronger procurement controls, governance and risk-management mechanisms to improve policy adherence and reduce operational and supplier-related risk. Fragmented Source-to-Pay processes also created manual intervention and bottlenecks across requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing and supplier management.
Limited spend visibility made it harder to support sourcing decisions, savings opportunities and disciplined purchasing. Procurement and enterprise systems also required better integration to improve data consistency and process continuity, while business users and suppliers needed simpler digital interactions to encourage adoption.

Solution
BCT designed and delivered an integrated Coupa Source-to-Pay ecosystem with Infor ERP, creating a connected procurement-to-finance process and reducing dependency on manual data exchange.
Bi-directional integration between Coupa and Infor enabled controlled exchange of master and transactional data. Supplier, user, accounting, item, category and organisational information was synchronized so that procurement activity could move reliably between the two platforms.
Requisitioning, purchase orders, receipts, invoices and supplier information were connected across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle. Automated transaction flows reduced manual intervention, while validation, monitoring, exception handling and reconciliation mechanisms improved data integrity and operational reliability.
The integration was aligned to procurement policies, approval requirements, accounting structures and ERP processes. Embedded controls, traceability and visibility supported auditability, reconciliation and governance, while the scalable architecture created a foundation for future interfaces and process enhancements.

Supplier onboarding reduced to 41 days compared with a 69-day industry benchmark, approximately 41% faster than the benchmark. These measurable results established a performance baseline and a roadmap for continued optimisation.
