Challenge
The integration requirement centred on connecting applications and backend systems across the banking ecosystem. The bank needed middleware capabilities to support communication and data exchange between these systems, together with deployment, messaging and monitoring tools to support the integration environment.
Solution
BCT provides middleware solutions using TIBCO products under a time-and-materials engagement that began in June 2023. TIBCO BusinessWorks serves as the platform for API design and integration, connecting banking applications, systems and data sources.
Java supports customisation, while Oracle provides data storage. TIBCO Enterprise Administrator supports application deployment, and TIBCO Enterprise Message Service handles queues and messaging. TIBCO Hawk provides monitoring capabilities for the environment.
The engagement combines integration development with the supporting technology components needed to deploy, monitor and manage communication between systems. BCT’s delivery approach remains flexible to the customer’s requirements.
