Hind Bahwan has what many consider a "technology" background. A graduate in Computer Science and Harvard Business School alumna, Ms Hind has grown her professional skills within the billion-dollar Suhail Bahwan Group. She is one of the Directors of Suhail Bahwan Group and is recognized throughout the Middle East as an enterprising and dynamic young businesswoman. She is also Director of Bahwan Travel Agency – a multi million-dollar company, offering all travel related facilities in Oman under one roof.
Hind is a member of the Young President's Organization, a peer network which connects together global entrepreneurs to exchange ideas, pursue learning and share strategies to achieve personal and professional growth and success. She also plays a leading role in working with government and other leading commercial companies in the joint pursuit of creating a digital society in Oman.
Hind's vision - to be the preferred partner of her clients and a leader in the Global IT solutions market - is quickly becoming a reality. As the Executive Chairperson, she has created in Bahwan CyberTek, an organization providing world-class products and services. It already links four nations known for excellence in IT and ICT: Oman, the United Arab Emirates, India and the United States.
Under her leadership Bahwan CyberTek has also developed a Joint Venture with the Government of Oman and Omantel to create for Gulf Air at Knowledge Oasis Muscat, the largest IPCC based call centre in the country, which now employs more than 300 local citizens.
She has also been instrumental in creating a Joint Venture between Bahwan CyberTek and Tibbett & Britten, forming a 4th party logistics organization – the first of it’s kind in Oman. She has provided leadership for BCT from the front since inception.

S Durgaprasad
S. Durgaprasad, characterized as an Executive Entrepreneur and a people's person with a passion to create new markets, has been instrumental in Bahwan CyberTek Group's distinguished position in the global IT arena. The International Who's Who Historical Society recently recognized Durgaprasad in the International Who's Who of 2003, “for demonstrating exemplary professional achievement and for his distinguished contribution to the IT community”. With a blend of strategic long-term vision and an eye on operational short-term goals, he has created initiatives like CashSwitch, Cuecent product offerings and has built Bahwan CyberTek into a world-class software products and services organisation. He has led Bahwan CyberTek at a period when it is regarded as the most preferred company to work with in Oman.
An Engineer from College of Engineering, Guindy, Madras University, Durgaprasad, better known as DP has a 20-year proven record of accomplishments in Marketing and Business consultancy in IT. He had a distinguished career with HCL - Computer division in India for 12 years and has led as Business Entity Manager, South, before joining the Bahwan Group in 1994. DP has excelled in motivating his teams in reaching aggressive goals successfully. He plays a lead role in assisting the Government of Oman in achieving their goal of creating a knowledge society, through his active participation in their strategic committees and joint initiatives. His keen interest in achieving international quality standards has led Bahwan CyberTek to be one among the elite group of IT companies in the world, to be assessed at CMMi Level 5.
Prof. Sawhney is a globally recognized scholar, teacher, consultant and speaker in strategic marketing, innovation and new media. His research and teaching interests include marketing and media in the digital world, process-centric marketing, collaborative marketing, organic growth and network-centric innovation. He has been widely recognized as a thought leader. Business Week named him as one of the 25 most influential people in e-Business. Crain’s Chicago Business named him a member of “40 under 40”, a select group of young business leaders in the Chicago area. He is a Fellow of the World Economic Forum.
Prof. Sawhney is the co-author of five books. His most recent books are Collaborating with Customers to Create (2008) and The Global Brain: your Roadmap for Innovating Smarter and Faster in the Networked World (2007). His research has been published in leading journals like California Management Review, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Management Science, Marketing Science, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. He has also written several influential trade articles in publications like the Financial Times, CIO Magazine, and Business 2.0. He has won several awards for his teaching and research, including the 2006 Sidney Levy Award for Teaching Excellence at the Kellogg School, the 2005 runner-up for Best Paper in Journal of Interactive Marketing, the 2001 Accenture Award for the best paper published in California Management Review in 2000 and the Outstanding Professor of the Year at Kellogg in 1998.
Prof. Sawhney advises and speaks to Global 2000 firms and governments worldwide. Prof. Sawhney holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; a Master’s degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta; and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
Mike Muralidharan, fondly called Mike, is the Chief Operating Officer for BCT-Core Global Business. In his role as COO, he steers the business of BCT globally, and spearheads the Sales and Marketing strategies. A graduate engineer in Electronics and Telecommunications from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Muralidharan has over 26 years of experience in running various organizations in the areas of Marketing, Operations, Human Resources and Support Services along with overall enterprise management.
A top management professional with a unique blend of experience working in diverse organizations, he has imbibed the diverse cultures of aggression and process orientedness with exceptional relationship management skills and ability to relate with people at all levels.
In his previous assignment as an entrepreneur, had earlier built and ran Precision Techserve Pvt Ltd, a 620-staff, multi-location organization, handling overall management responsibility for Infrastructure Technology & Solutions Business. Other key responsibilities he handled at Precision were Management of Principals, HR Management, Marcom Initiatives and CSR activities.
Academically, a Mechanical Engineering graduate, and a Certified Project Management Professional, Shyam has exclusive 24+ years of Techno functional expertise covering Multiple Verticals Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Infrastructure- Roads & Buildings and Information Technology. He has managed multiple multi million $ projects onsite and offshore in multiple locations encompassing the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Erection of large Process Plants. This in-depth understanding of the industry has provided the expertise to implement Large Enterprise IT Applications and Bespoke software development Projects across various industry verticals. He brings in-depth domain experience & knowledge on Processes/functionalities related to oil/Petrochemical/Pharmaceuticals/Infrastructure and Process plants related industries. He is currently heading the Offshore Development Center of Bahwan Cybertek at Chennai
Karthik is the Vice President- PM & IAG based out of Oman and is responsible for managing the finance function of the BCT Group. He is also responsible as the Business Head managing a strategic contract with the Ministry in Oman. Currently he is also on the Board of the JV company- Infoline LLC as a Director.
Karthik is a qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant with over 14 years of professional working experience in Finance & Accounts, System Design, Internal Audit, MIS, HR, Administration, Strategy and Process Management. Has handled cross functional and business head roles as and when the organizational requirement and situation warranted.
He started his career with Tata Steel Ltd and has subsequently worked with large and leading organizations being Ashok Leyland Finance Ltd, Ramco Systems Ltd and presently with the Bahwan CyberTek Group since 2001
With two decades of experience in the IT sector, Raj drives BCT global footprint expansion and pursuing strategic opportunities. He is part of the Corporate Office which is instrumental in identifying and nurturing growth engines for new & existing geographies.
Prior to BCT, Raj had been with Tier 1 System Integrator companies in India and Technology Firms in US in various capacities and had handled Product and Services development and implementation. He has successfully delivered large IT projects with some of them ranging from 100 to 200+ person years.
Raj holds a Master Degree in Finance from Pondicherry University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics from MIT, Chennai. He is a certified PMP, a trained Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified Global Business Leader from U21 Singapore.
Balaji Sundaram is the Chief Operating Officer for North America in BCT. He is responsible for formulating, planning and execution of growth strategies to expand BCT's business in the North America region. The growth focus is around building long term customer relationships leveraging BCT's Cuecent range of products, solutions and services.
Balaji Sundaram brings over 19 years of experience in Sales, Business Development and Operations. As a founding member of BCT, Balaji was instrumental in establishing BCT's business in North America and building a reputation of delivering highest level of customer satisfaction and service delivery excellence. A firm believer of Teamwork, he has built a strong leadership team to support BCT's growth objectives in North America.
Prior to BCT, Balaji served as a Sales Manager for HCL Infosystems in their Southern Indian operations. In this role he drove business for HCL's IT products and services from leading corporate establishments in India. He has won a number of awards and recognitions for his role in winning large and prestigious deals for HCL during his tenure.
Balaji holds a post graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and a graduate degree in Mathematics from Chennai University. He has participated in Kellog's School of Management's program on "Energizing people for performance". He is based out of BCT's North America headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts.
Subramanian Nagarajan, popularly known as Subbu, is the Vice President- Business development for BCT North America and is responsible for managing client acquisition, sales and business development functions. Having been with BCT in Oman and the USA for over 9 years, Subbu has been instrumental in winning some of the prestigious accounts and large strategic projects. He has played a key role in the establishment of BCT's strategic JV initiatives Bahwan DHL and Infoline.
Subbu brings over 14 years of experience in solution oriented sales in information technology, consulting and outsourcing services. Prior to BCT, Subbu has served in Sales and Business development functions at IBM Global Services and HCL Limited.
Subbu holds a degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Annamalai University.
He is based out of BCT's North America headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts.
Ghanshyam Sharma, known to friends and colleagues as Sharma, is one of the founding members of BCT, and currently heads all CUECENT product initiatives for the Americas. Sharma has been instrumental in formulating and executing BCT's product strategy for the western markets. In his current role he manages all marketing, solution development, consulting, pre-sales, sales and support functions for Americas
Sharma has been an active promoter of entrepreneurship in the technology industry and has conducted several non-profit events, focused on helping start-ups acquire the right tools and resources for successful execution. His "Entrepreneurship Roundtable" events, regularly conducted in New York and San Francisco, have attracted some of the best technology innovators and Venture Capitalists across United States. Sharma has also several whitepapers on BPM/SOA, Web 2.0 and Technology Management to his credit and he is a regular speaker in several industry events.
In the past Sharma has acquired extensive solution architecture and product management experience, executing critical projects for prestigious clients like Fannie Mae and BEA Systems (Now Oracle). As an Enterprise Architect and Project Manager, he has not only executed several complex B2B and B2C solutions for clients across United States, but also participated in the platform engineering of WebLogic suite of products for BEA Systems including BEA WebLogic Server, BEA WebLogic portal and BEA WebLogic Integration.
Sharma holds a Masters in Computers Applications (MCA) degree from the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and an Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the prestigious Columbia Business School, NY. Sharma also had a stint as an associate professor at the University of Jammu, teaching post graduate courses like Compiler Designing, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management Systems and Accounting. Currently he is also engaged with several technology start-ups on multiple levels, helping them through technology and management guidance and crucial industry contacts.
Jerry Reyling joined our BCT team in the US in 2007 and brings over 30 years of extensive direct and indirect sales experience in all areas of IT. He has been instrumental in building sales territories for startup companies as well as expanding markets for companies like ADP, Ultimate Corporation, and Citibank's Retail Transaction Division. The most successful start up in which Jerry was a founding member in 1995 was BEA Systems which grew to $ 1.5 Billion and is now part of Oracle. He was the first sales rep for BEA in the South based out of Atlanta.
Jerry currently is Director of Sales for the US Southern Region and all of Canada. His duties include direct sales for the regions as well as managing the rapidly growing CUECENT Product Family of BCT Partners and Distributors.
Jerry holds a BS in Marketing and Accounting as well as an MBA from Indiana State University. He remains very active as an Alumni for ISU as well as the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He most recently was one of 4 alumni who structured and managed a campaign to raise $2.5 million dollars to build a new fraternity house and campus at ISU. He is also a passionate supporter of the Humane Society both at a local and national level.
Sampath Kumar has more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise software services arena including On Demand/SaaS, Offshore IT strategy and entrepreneurship. Sampath, based in the BCT San Jose, California office, leverages his broad and in-depth enterprise applications experience to help attain the BCT objectives related to growth, execution and customer satisfaction. He adopts a customer-centric approach in building long-term partnerships with our customers.
Prior to BCT, Sampath had a tenure spanning more than a decade with Oracle Corporation in California as part of the Oracle Worldwide Support, Services, Development and On Demand organizations. He was the service delivery executive for some of the largest, strategic Oracle On Demand customers and was responsible for creating the framework for On Demand service delivery and execution. His leadership and execution served as a model for the other service groups in the organization.
Sampath was Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Professional Services of Appshop, leading Oracle Applications outsourcing and professional service provider. Appshop merged with USi in 2004 and was acquired by AT&T in 2007. Sampath was also the Co-Founder of Simplify, a leading consulting firm specialized in Oracle Applications services, in 1998.
Sampath holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Madras University. He is also a certified member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
Narendar Subramanyam is one of the founders of Bahwan CyberTek, and currently heads the BCT FZ LLC (A subsidiary of BCT Group based out of Dubai Internet City) Operations.
Narendar has nearly 20 years of middle & senior management experience in IT/ITES space across India & Middle East. He has championed several IP opportunities some of which today enjoy market leader position in the Middle East & Africa region. He has leveraged his strong domain expertise in Government & Public Sector vertical and built a strong offer set for this largest business segment and is a key business driver for BCT's eGovernment Practice.
Known for his passion, keen business sense, strategizing large deals coupled with an innovative bent of mind and aggressive growth orientation, Narendar has built teams that deliver extraordinary results through teamwork & motivation that has extracted exemplary individual excellence as well. A natural hands-on leader, Narendar is also known for his exceptional customer handling, communication & presentation skills making him equally popular amongst the customer base and as internally.
Narender is a Commerce Graduate with Post Graduation in Business Management & Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
Sameer Gupta is the Executive Vice President of Infoline LLC and has been instrumental in growing Infoline to great heights and is spearheading the company in its journey towards the region's most preferred IT and ITES Organisation. His core specialisation roots in BPO, Contact Centre's, Strategic and Financial Planning and New Business Start ups.
He has a total of 24+ years of experience in large conglomerates and organizations like Wiley (US based), India Today group, Escorts, HCL, Inox, Product direct (UK Based) and Bahwan CyberTek Group (Oman Based).
He has in depth experience in Call Centres and Customer care and has high level of competence in identifying new synergistic business opportunities. Having handled companies / Profit Centres in Oman, UK and Malaysia. He has hands on experience in controlling and monitoring of all financial, business control and statutory functions with an extremely strong focus on enhancing the bottom line of an organization in a highly competitive environment.
Sameer is a certified Chartered Accountant.
Izzeldin is the Vice President in the Executive office to handle and contribute in multidisciplinary tasks, including but not limited to the Chairperson & Executive office affairs, Government liaison and legal affairs, training centre and program promotion, teachers' and professional services program, Omani staff development, orientation and organisation schemes.
Izzeldin has been instrumental in the design and delivery of the 'Cyber-Teacher' program, where over 200 Omani nationals were trained by BCT in collaboration with Ministry of Manpower to enhance the IT teaching resources and empowering Omani nationals to join the workforce. He is an integral member of the BCT team and continues to support the Group in various operational and executive levels
He is a former UN consultant and regional coordinator, as well as a member of various associations and world forums. He has worked and traveled through over 20 countries across 3 continents, and has thereby gained significant work experience and training.
Besides a staunch background in science, he holds a Master of Business Administration degree from UK.
Murthi is the Senior Vice president - Energy & Utilities (E&U) practice . He is responsible for managing the E&U business globally.
Murthi has a proven track record that spans more than 25 years in Energy & Utilities in Engineering Design Services, Plant Automation, Enterprise Asset Management and ERP. He has held senior management positions at TCS, Satyam, Ramco Systems, TVS Group, Neyveli Thermal Power Station.
Murthi holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics & Instrumentation from Annamalai University.
